When Nessa and David mentioned they really wanted to do their engagement session at her grandparent’s home, we were a little concerned. An old home in LA? Wouldn’t it be too dark and stuffy? We love natural light, would there be any beautiful light outside or a tiny yard like most LA homes? Well… weren’t we surprised when we walked into a literal dream come true! This gorgeous LA home was built in 1932 and has been owned by Nessa’s grandparents since the 60s. Lucky for us (and the world) according to Grandma, she insisted on keeping it close to original as possible. She made the kitchen curtains from lace bought in Amsterdam and hand carried a beautiful chandelier all the way back from Italy! The ceilings and doorways are to die for. Homes just aren’t made like this one anymore. It’s truly a work of art. Not only that, they have truly breathtaking yards, both in front and back of their home.
Pair all of this with one amazingly adorable couple like Nessa and David, and pinch us because we might be dreaming! Not only are they cute on camera, they are also so kind, thoughtful and warm people to be around. We can’t wait for their wedding next spring (and hopefully to be invited to Grandma’s soon for tea)!
