Want a portrait session but nervous about it being too long for your kids to sit still? Maybe you just need a quick photo for your holiday card this year! Or perhaps you and your sweetie just got engaged and you want it documented! Whatever the reason, mini sessions are a short, easy session in our favorite park!
We’re officially booking Los Angeles mini portrait and family sessions!
Don’t fret! these are socially distanced sessions!
We have perfected the art of socially distanced sessions! We will wear masks the entire time and our park allows for plenty of space for us to stay at least 6ft away from you at all times but we can still get you beautiful images! Promise!
A mini session is perfect for…
Couples! Good for anniversaries or just because! This is the perfect amount of time for a quick updated session with your sweetie!
Small families (we recommend 4 people or less!) Don’t think your little will sit too long for photos? Maybe someone in your family doesn’t like photos? A mini session could be the perfect amount of time!
Maternity sessions. If you're expecting but don't want a whole big session, mini sessions are ideal!
New headshots/mini branding session. Need something new for the gram? This is a perfect way to get a quick update to start the holiday season off right!
An updated portrait of the kids or a simple for a holiday card. Just need “one photo” for your holiday card? Or only want the kids in the photo? A mini session will check that box for you!

Sessions will be ready within 4 weeks. We always do our best to turn sessions around as fast as possible. We guarantee your photos will be ready for you to use on your holiday cards and emails!
We are booking on a first come, first serve basis. No session time or date can be held without the full session payment.

ABOUT OUR BURBANK PARK
We have been photographing couples & families for almost 10 years and have never found a location as consistent and beautiful as this park!
It has the BEST light almost all times of day and let’s be honest, without great light, there wouldn’t be great photos! There’s tons of street parking so if you leave something in the car, easy to grab! There’s very little traffic, so it’s extra safe for those runaway kiddos or pups. It’s near an equestrian center, so sometimes horses come by!
Have you had photos here before? Awesome! You totally understand how amazing this park is! This same background actually allows you to focus on seeing how much you, your kids, or puppy have changed and grown since your last session! If you decide to hang photos together, they will have a similar cohesive look, but show how much has changed. We much prefer to focus on the emotion of you as a couple or family rather than the background. This park allows us a safe, beautifully lit canvas in which to do just that! Another way we’d suggest having a different look is to not wear the exact same outfits you wore to your previous session. If you are concerned with the background it’s a huge park, so we can always do a different spot to vary it up.

WHAT IS A FAMILY SESSION? A full family session is 45 minute family session (scheduled time slot for 60 minutes) to give you plenty of one on one attention and even more amazing images! If you want a longer family session book one here!
WHAT IS A MINI SESSION? A mini session is a shorter (only 20 minute) version of a full session. To accommodate as many clients at a more budget-friendly price, these sessions are scheduled back to back in the Burbank outdoor studio ONLY. We only offer these at select times and dates. Once our full sessions have booked, we will assess mini session dates and book those via waitlist. If you want to know when mini sessions are available, sign up here!

WHERE IS IT? In our outdoor “studio”, a local Burbank park we adore!

WHAT ABOUT COVID? Don’t fret! We have perfected socially distanced sessions! Our park allows for us to stay at least 6ft away from you at all times and we wear masks the entire time! Plus we can guarantee you’ll still get amazing photos!
HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS CAN I BRING? As many as you want! Full Portrait Sessions (45 minutes) include up to 6 family members. Mini Sessions (20 minutes) include up to 4 family members. Each additional family member is $25 each.
WE’VE HAD A SESSION AT YOUR PARK AND DON’T WANT IT TO “LOOK THE SAME” Unless you’ve had a session with us in the last month or two, chances are your children have changed quite a bit since we last saw you, so you’re session will already automatically look different! We much prefer to focus on the emotion of you as a family and the cute changing faces of your kiddos rather than a background. This park allows us a safe, beautifully lit canvas in which to do just that! Another way we’d suggest having a different look is to not wear the exact same outfits you wore to your previous session(s). If you are concerned, it’s a huge park, so we can always do a different spot to vary it up.

WILL YOU PROVIDE PROPS OR A BACKDROP? Nope! Aside from it not being safe with Covid-19, we prefer more natural settings so we can focus on capturing you as a couple or family more organically. Your session will have a more “lifestyle” or in the moment kind of feel. We want to capture you laughing, running, having fun & being YOU! If you’re looking for super posed-looking photos, that’s not really our jam.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN PROPS? Absolutely! Please bring anything you feel would give your session more of your personality. A picnic blanket, basket, quilt, balloons, bicycle, are just some ideas! Just keep in mind you have so much time for your session so if any major setup time is involved, please arrive early to do so. We are unable to offer holiday-themed stylizing this year due to Covid-19.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET? The amount of images varies from session to session. A typical Portrait Session (45 minutes) produces a minimum of 30-50 quality images. A typical Mini Session (30 minutes) produces a minimum of 10 quality images. All the images you receive in your gallery will be professionally edited & you can download the high-resolution images directly off your gallery. We will also upload your images directly to minted.com so you may get started on your holiday cards right away!
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES? Our turnaround time is within 4 weeks, but we always do our best to turn images around as fast as possible. We are well aware that you want to have these images in time for the holidays, so we typically work around the clock (24/7) to make sure you receive your images as soon as humanly possible. Last year we turned images around within 3-4 weeks. You can opt to pay a rush fee if you prefer to have your images sooner! The rush fee ensures your photos arrive within 7 business days of your session (if paid in advance).
WHAT IF I JUST NEED ONE IMAGE? Even one image requires a full rush fee to be paid in order to have your images sooner than they are ready.
WHAT IF I BOOK BUT CAN’T MAKE IT? If you should need to reschedule we can happily move you to a different time or date if one is available! We ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we can be sure to accommodate you. If you cannot make it at all, the sooner we know the better. If we cannot rebook you to another time, you may use your session fee toward another full session at another time within 6 months from your original session date.
WHAT IF MY CHILD OR I AM SICK? Especially in times of Covid-19, we cannot emphasize this enough – DO NOT COME IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD ARE SICK!!!! You run the risk of making us and/or our other clients sick! In order to keep up with our workflow at this time of year, we do our best to keep from getting ill. You can delay the turnaround time on your own photos as well as others. Please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.
THE FINE PRINT – SESSION POLICIES
The Vondys LLC reserves the right to use any photograph in any form such as, but not limited to, the use in advertising, reproduction, copyright or for portfolio use. All images are copyrighted by The Vondys LLC, even those purchased, downloaded and/or included with this session. Digital images purchased will include a release to allow printing at a lab of your choice or for sharing online for personal use only. All images received digitally may not be used for profit, contests or advertising without express written consent from The Vondys LLC. All posting of images on the internet need to be acknowledged as photos of The Vondys LLC. It is STRONGLY recommended to use The Vondys LLC for your printing needs as we 100% guarantee our quality in color and longevity. Copying, scanning, reproducing, or screen-grabbing images is strictly prohibited. Prices are subject to change without notice and are non-negotiable. Once your session is booked, prices are guaranteed for 30 days after your session. Due to the custom nature of photography & products, no refunds will be issued after booking. 2) Once your session invoice is paid for you are officially booked!
3) Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation along with a guide on how to get to our location, what to expect, ideas for what to wear, etc.
4) Bring your best personalities to your session and prepare to have a great time!
